Meet the Author

Karen Putzke is a wife, mother, and educator. She earned a Master's degree in Education and specializes in educating students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other special needs.

Karen has taught in school settings and in private tutoring settings. She has worked in partnership with many students, parents, and other educators to facilitate students' academic successes and to improve their self- confidence.

A native of northeast Florida, Karen, her husband, Brian, and their five-year old daughter, Kayla, live on a horse farm in St. Augustine, Florida. She enjoys raising Kayla amidst the animals, acreage, and gardens. Karen notes that Kayla's continuous requests for stories have led to the Midnight the Cow tales.

Karen recognizes God's blessings in her journey as an author and also wishes to thank her family and friends for their encouragement and enthusiasm.
